At Southeast, you’ll find a place where you and your family can explore faith and learn about God in a real and relevant way while feeling like you belong from the moment you step in the door. It should go without saying, but whatever your background, from the moment you pull into the parking lot, we want you to feel at home. With that in mind, here is what you can expect if you choose to check out Southeast.

When should I arrive? How long does the worship service last?

Our Sunday gathering begins at 10:00 AM. You can be as anonymous as you would like to be, but we invite you to arrive a few minutes early to get acquainted with our space, check in your kids for our nursery, preschool, or elementary experience, and learn more about our church at our information table. Our service lasts a little over an hour (details below).

Where should I go?

Our Sunday Gatherings are held at Thompson Crossing Elementary at 7525 Thompson Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46239 (click here for directions). We have an entrance on the north side of the parking lot marked door #2. Look for the “Southeast” signs. Every Sunday morning, our hospitality team will be standing by to help guide you or answer any questions.

What should I wear?

We’re casual and laid back, but please wear whatever is most comfortable for you.

What happens on a Sunday?

After a short welcome, our band will lead us in singing 2-3 songs. During this time, we may also have a short video, readings, or prayer. Prior to the sermon, our preschool and elementary-aged kids are released to teaching environments created just for them (our nursery is available during the entire service). Pastor Ryan will preach for about 30 minutes and conclude with announcements and prayer.

What will my kids do?

We have environments created just for kids from newborn through 5th grade. They can stay with you, but we think they will love what we have planned for them.

Our nursery space is staffed by wonderful, friendly volunteers and is available throughout the entire service.

Preschool and elementary-aged children worship with their families and then are dismissed during the teaching time to go to a fun environment created just for them. You can pick them up from their easily identifiable classroom space after the service.
